WArt on finger?
Alright so i had a wart on my middle finger and thumb. I had it treated with liquid nitrogen but it didn’t work. I am using compound w liquid and noticed that white things are forming around the wart. Every night I peel off the white layer and add more and notice that the white thing forming around the wart gets big. Is it normal and is the compound w working? Should I rip it off? I tried it for 5 days, and I notice a beat(as in a pulse) on my middle finger and thumb?
What you describe is dead skin around the wart, and is normal. It also means you are putting to big a drop on your wart, and you are killing healthy skin next to it. You are doing exactly what you should be doing. It can take several weeks of daily use to shift off a wart, it’s a virus living in a skin cell at the base of the wart. One day you will peel back the dead white skin and probably see a clear spot with tiny little black specks in it. That is the offending virus infecting cell, and once you kill that- the wart goes away. Liquid nitrogen works fastest, but it can still take several applications to shift a wart. Just soak your finger, peel off any loose skin, dry it and apply the tiniest drip you can to get just the wart and not much surrounding skin. And keep plugging, because it’s going to take a month or so. It’s not an instant cure, but it will work. The doctors use the same exact thing, only charge more. I know, I used to get paid well to paint warts for the docs. On my kids, we used Compound W.
