I'm getting an artist to draw me a logo-it must be a certain size?
When the image is done I want to put it on business cards, stickers, t-shirts … all the bad things that have different sizes. Should the original artwork is a certain size so it will also translate all different sizes?
This should be done in vector format. That way it fits, bigger and smaller, without fear of pixelization. If the artist can not do it, then him / make him as big as in size as is practical. (for example, the maximum size you plan to use the logo. (tee shirt?) If the drawing is clean and simple enough, you can always reduce it without fear. One problem is that you are, when you get a hard copy drawing to a print shop, you have to pay for the extra steps to scan the store has to do to get this format they can use. A vector file is digitized and usually apply to any system print using bureau.
